Mobile Shelving at 100Km/H
Apparently my dad's van didn't have enough storage space for him, so he decided to make his own shelf for a centre console out of steel bar, old plywood, and baseboard/window trim. Painting it all in a battleship grey was a nice touch, because it actually makes the item appear to be a legitimate off-the-shelf purchase, as well as the variable borders to each shelf, allowing for different items to be stacked on each. Upon closer inspection, however, un-sunk screws and some over-sprayed areas make it perfectly Franked!

Tapemeasure Doesn't Measure Up
These tapemeasures were basically re-branded (we peeled the existing company stickers off and put on our own) almost a million years ago it seems. Of course, as with all promotional items, their shelf-life was somewhat short, and so the internal components that held everything in place eventually wore out. As you can see, Frank chose to use a common drywall screw to remedy the situation. If you look at Jeff's Frank-It file, you'll find a similar modification, but using a steel rod and epoxy.

Cable Ties
Having issues with Cable TV at his house, my dad decided to get Rogers involved, and they rewired a few things and had him run fresh, clean cable to his TVs, which involved running bare cable throughout his house. So it didn't become a trip hazard ont he stairs, he decided to suspend it overhead. What better item to use as a cable tie, than another cable, in this case a computer power cable?
