Wow...what kind of store was it on? Even sadder than not knowing how uninviting they are, I think if they knew, they wouldn't even care!
Signs are bogus anyways - twice we've been to Home Depot at Leslie & Elgin Mills and seen dogs there - the first time, off a leash! And the staff go up and cuddle the dog, and pet it, and say how cute it is...when there is a sign right on the door saying no pets! I should go in there smoking, with no shoes and no shirt on, and if they complain, show them the picture I have of the stupid dog.
It's certainly a more hostile way to present it, but there's a no-cellphone policy at the Hairy Tarantula too. I think HT does allow food, drink and strollers, though.
