Laughing at the Misfortunes of Others

About a week ago we were watching some cartoons, and someone on the cartoon fell down, and Matthew started laughing.  We were just watching Backyardigans Secrete Agent and Pablo tripped and fell, and Matthew started laughing again.  It reminded me of what happened about a week ago (it may very well have been Backyardigans that we were watching then too) and I've noticed that he's been laughing at people falling a lot more lately.  So basically, he's realized the humour in prat falls, and that it's funny when someone stumbles!  I can't wait to have him appreciate the Three Stooges as much as the rest of my family (or at least the males in my family) do.
